Chocolates
Have you eaten your easter chocolate eggs or chocolates from January this year?
No? Then you might wanna check before eating.
Recently 7 Cadbury chocolates types have been recalled in various countries, including Singapore, due to a salmonella contamination. They are: 
250 gram bars of Dairy Milk Turkish,
Dairy Milk Caramel;
Dairy Milk Mint;
Dairy Milk 8 chunk;
1 kilogram bars of Dairy Milk:
Diary Milk Button Easter Eggs (105 grams);
and Cadbury Freddo 10p. 
Selmonella traces in the chocolates are said to have come from a leaky pipe near the production line in Cadbury's factory.
If it happens that you have just popped some of that chocolate into your mouth before reading, don't panick too. It was mentioned that the amount of selmonella might be too little to affect human bodies. :D

Chocolate is known to be a source of antioxidants, good cholestrol and small amount of phenylethylamine, which elevates our mood. But do you know that chocolate saved a woman's life in Canada?
A woman whose car flipped into an icy river, is believed to be saved by a heart-shaped box of Valentine chocolates after being trapped in the freezing Kootenay River water for almost 2 hours. She found a floating plastic container of chocolates , a Valentine's Day gift from her family, and ate it.
The woman was rescued in time and sent to the hospital for treatment of hypothermia. Simon Grypma, Assistant Chief of Nelson Fire and Rescue, said that the chocolates had probably helped to keep her alive by providing a small amount of extra body heat. :)
